Did I interpret the premise of the game wrong? The game starts with showing a autostereogram but after 3 seconds it goes to the game select screen and the games take place in front of a white screen, with no autostereogram in sight.

I thought the games would take place in front of the autostereograms.

During gameplay, each frame is shown as an autostereogram. For example, if you look at this project's cover image (a Pixel Paddle autostereogram frame), you'll see two paddles and a ball. There's a white background when the "Reduce Flashing" accessibility setting is on and when the "in stereo" in-game setting is off. To view the games as autostereograms, turn the "Reduce Flashing" accessibility setting off and the "in stereo" in-game setting on.

I see, super important to turn off Reduce Flashing in the playdate system settings, that wasn't clear to me before. Thanks.

I love stereograms!  I don't know that I'm "good enough" at seeing stereograms to play a game with them, but willing to give it a try!  Thank you for making this!

Thanks for giving it a try! It was so cool when I realized this was possible. To make it easier, you can check the "helpers" option in the menu. Once you've got the two squares lined up, then you've got the right focus.
